TRIN + ALEX’S MOTORCYCLE ENGAGEMENTS

I met Trin and Alex through my boyfriend, Justin. Trin and Justin met through the motorcycle community.

I was so excited when they wanted to do pics with me! We though it would be fun to do bring a bike on the beach for a few photos! Cape Kiwanda is a good spot for this because it has a ramp leading to the beach, and normally allows vehicles to park on the beach. It was technically blocked off at our shoot, but we figured one motorcycle wouldn’t be an issue. I am so glad we went for it! When we got on-site, the beach was super packed because it was a Saturday, and it was also SUUUUUPER windy. Surprise! Haha. Luckily, Trin and Alex embraced the wind and made it happen! My best advice for couples is to embrace wind if your wedding, elopement, or shoot lands on a windy day! You can get some really epic stuff. You gotta be willing to let your hair blow around, and only fix it when I tell ya! Otherwise, You’ll be constantly trying to fix your hair and 90% of my shots will be of you fixing it. Trin and Alex did great! We also almost got the bike stuck a couple of times, but had some friends there to help move it out of any holes it got stuck in.

Trin owns Hinterland Empire, a coffee roasting and sustainable clothing company based out of Portland. She’s a badass. Definitely check out their website and follow them on instagram. Their coffee is SOOOO goood.

I LOVE shooting same-sex couples. Loved all of the amazing hair in this shoot. These two are wild, feral humans and I really wanted that to come through in their images.

Here are their photos.. enjoy!!
