ROWDY + JORDAN
Rowdy + Jordan are ADORABLE. I absolutely loved their young, vibrant energy.
Rowdy and Jordan are both artists, and are starting out on their paths in life. Jordan is a very talented tattoo artist and Rowdy is a portrait artist (although I didn’t get to see any of his work, Jordan assured me Rowdy is super talented). I honestly can’t wait to see where their careers take them, and it was so fun to be able to document them at this point in their lives. After seeing their Instagram profiles, I knew these two would have amazing style. I love all their rings/jewelry, their unique tattoos, and their casual streetwear. I really love when couples wear clothes they’d wear on a regular day, especially in nature. While the boring jeans-and-t-shirt look is not what I’d advise, something. more like this—unique t-shirts, converse shoes, layers, rings, etc. are definitely my jam. It’s good to wear clothing that makes sense at the location you are shooting at.
We shot at Albion Basin during wildflower season (early August). The purple flowers were in bloom, the light was perfect, the mountains cascade to a point in the backdrop that makes my heart melt. These two were so playful and energetic, making it so easy to get great content. We shot the shit and spoke in fake English accents (Rowdy’s was the best.. mine was horrible), and got some documentary style photos of their love.
