Hornings Hideout Wedding

JOSEPHA + ROBERT

I love this wedding because it is SO Oregon! Horning’s Hideout is one of my favorite Oregon venues.

The greenery, the trees, and the rain all came together in one place to create a really dreamy vibe. It’s always stressful when you find out there’s going to be rain on your wedding day. People tend to panic and worry. The two main concerns are usually the guests and the dress. I highly recommend ordering a bunch of clear umbrellas on Amazon if it looks like it might rain. If you have to do the ceremony in the rain, guests will at least be covered. For the dress, my best advice is to roll with it. If you become fearful of ruining your dress or getting it dirty, unfortunately, that does not leave room for good wedding photos. Things end up feeling stiff and I am not able to get any natural movement in the images. Embrace the rain! Have fun, relax, play, and let things roll how fate intended. Your images will be so much better, and you’ll remember having a blast on your day! Josepha was so great about embracing the rain. Her dress got so dirty, and she just rolled with it because the knew her pics would be great. Loved this wedding, and loved Horning’s Hideout!
