When I think back to Sandy and Rob’s wedding at Mt. Hood Organic Farms in Oregon, the word that comes to mind is breathtaking—and not just because of the views of Mount Hood itself, which towered in the background like a painting all day long.
This wedding was the perfect blend of timeless elegance and what I’d call Oregon chic. Sandy wore an incredible fitted gown that felt classic but entirely her own. The silhouette, the movement, the way it caught the golden hour light—it was one of those dresses that photographed like a dream. Rob wore a white tuxedo jacket with a subtle paisley texture that you had to get close to really appreciate. Paired with classic black trousers, it struck the perfect balance between formal and fresh.
Wildflower Portland created florals that I’ve truly never seen before. The arrangements were sculptural and intentional—each piece felt like its own art installation. Every bridesmaid held a different bouquet, designed uniquely for her, which added so much personality to the portraits. The florals weren’t just beautiful, they were bold, expressive, and totally aligned with the spirit of the day.
The entire event was executed with absolute precision and warmth by the team at Sideways & Co. From the ceremony arch to the reception layout, every design detail was thoughtful and grounded in the natural surroundings. They created a flow that felt effortless, yet it was clear how much behind-the-scenes mastery went into the logistics.
Mt. Hood Organic Farms offered the kind of setting that makes a photographer giddy: lush orchards, warm-toned buildings, and sweeping views of Mount Hood. That volcano makes a cameo in so many of the images, not just because it’s stunning, but because it truly feels like a character in the story of this place.
Sandy and Rob’s wedding was one for the books—sophisticated, grounded, and filled with beauty at every turn.
