Milk & Honey Styled Shoot

When Aman from Amri & Co reached out to me about doing a styled shoot, I said “Hell yes”!

I am based out of Portland, but Aman is based out of Seattle. I told her I shoot weddings in Seattle often and am totally up for driving up for a styled shoot. We put together a concept and she got started on planning. I was so impressed by the way things came together. We really wanted things to feel modern yet romantic. We wanted to use different textures to create a more dynamic shoot. We wanted to keep a really tight color palette, with shades of cream, yellow, and white. We had a dress idea in mind, but when the model (Frankie) and Aman went to the Indina to try on dresses, we fell in love with two dresses and decided to shoot both. I loved how well both dresses flowed with the shoot, yet showed very different perspectives. The cape dress was strong, powerful, and a little sexy. The tulle dress was “flowey”, natural, and sweet. Britlyn Simone came in hot with gorgeous flowers as always, really tying together the table setup. Jordy Chu handled invites and her minimal style really kept things slick and cohesive.

I loved working with Amri & Co.. she’s one of the best wedding planners in Seattle. I get to take a trip to Seattle soon to work with her again!
