God’s Thumb

When these two lovebirds decided on God’s Thumb in Lincoln City for their session, I could not have been more excited!
I’d shot at God’s Thumb a few years back, but it had been a while since I’d made it out there again for a shoot. God’s thumb requires a four mile hike with about 1,000 foot climb. These two were down for the adventure! We climbed through some pretty intense mud, outfit changes on-hand, and finally made it to the top to the insanely epic views. The green grass, rocky coastline, and cloudy weather made us feel like we were in Ireland instead of Oregon. It was super windy, which made for amazing shots of Storme’s dress. I could not be happier with the way the images turned out.
These two came from Southern California for their shoot on the coast. We chatted about their dream to buy property on the coast someday, about their past trips to Oregon, and a bit about Big Foot. I am so glad I got to be a part of a special time in their lives! We definitely had a pretty incredibly adventure that day, and I’d do it again in a heartbeat.
